Another Saturday, another Bull Moon Hash!
This was a day trip to Shropshire, to Madeley to celebrate the 50th trail, though some intrepid souls had started the celebrations on Friday night with drinks, food, drinks, dancing and food.
There were a number of familiar faces from last Saturday, and more from Warwickshire and Donnington Hashes.
The interesting on and off road trail (lots of shiggy!) was set by Soggy Balls and Just Enough, a virgin trail layer - some of the trail had to be altered because of the floods, and the pub they had planned to use had been flooded, but they adapted the route, and even included local history stops at the ice house in the woods and t the Maws tile factory. And of course we crossed the Ironbridge.
Back at the pub, Dr Doo gave down downs to the hares; to Kookie D'oh who wondered why the arrows were marked with an 'M'; Dipstick, who had jogged to the pub, tripped in front of everyone and smashed his creme egg; Tinderbox for lost property, Fingerless, Mad Cow and Airbag because of confusion over their names. Dr Doo also named Marie as Fuzzy Duck and Michelle as Clueless.
Col Clink took over and gave down downs to Tweeny for his moaning; Max for leaving the pub door open; Soggy for his late arrival (!); :nj for getting stuck in the bath the previous night (!!).
Tweeny presented Fingerless with a camouflage jacket to match his trousers.
Col Klink congratulated Bull Moon on their 50th run, and Soggy thanked everyone who had travelled to be there on the day.
There is no Bull Moon Hash next Saturday - the next one is on Saturday 7th March at the Duke of York, Lichfield.
